Summer is here. It’s time to gather your girlfriends and change up your weekend routine with these delicious brunch spots, all of which offer tantalizing drinks to lift your spirits, and sunny spots to enjoy and savor the weekend.

Carmine’s

This Gold Coast restaurant, part of the Rosebud Restaurant Group, is giving weekends an upgrade with a Bellini Brunch. Enjoy $8 Bellinis with choice of passion fruit, mango and traditional peach (subject to change). In addition, red and white sangria pitchers will be offered ($16 for half, $32 for whole).

Ladies can indulge in the new drink features from the comfort of the large dining rooms or al fresco on the renowned patio and garden seating while feasting on Carmine’s brunch favorites like Banana’s Foster French Toast and Crab Cake Benedict.

The interior of this River North spot is warm and intimate with cheery music that is great for those ‘morning-after’ conversations with girlfriends. The food menu caters to groups and parties of two. Guests can share a cast-iron French toast dish, or nosh on individual items, like the Mediterranean Salad or shared apps, like the Buttermilk and Vanilla Bean Doughnut Holes.

Drink to share: Blonde on Blonde-vodka, rum, white port, Champagne, and chili pepper served in a copper pineapple. $26, serves 2-3. The patio is a highlight for summer, with family-style seating for up to 12.
